When offering retail products or a local service, enquiries can come from various sources like word-of-mouth, advertising or reputation. However, for most of us, those are not enough to maintain a successful, profitable business. We almost always want more potential customers or clients.
What Is Happening Now?
My approach to helping individual clients is to take a detailed look at what is currently happening. Understanding exactly what you want to achieve, and how and where you are offering your services. Once we understand these things we can identify the opportunities and options to improve your situation.
Tweaking And Making Changes
With most of my recent clients we have agreed a course of action, made it happen, and tracked the immediate changes. If we have some positive results, that usually means my job is done. If not, we can back-track to see what we might have missed and tweak things.
Checking Things Out
Answering these questions will help to identify where there are opportunities:
∗ Realistically, what will “good” look like and what do you want to achieve right now?
∗ Geographically, what is your key business area?
∗ Is your customer information clear in all ways?
∗ How do your customers find you at the moment?
∗ How do you promote your business?
∗ What free promotional tools are you using?
∗ Does Google know you exist? How?
∗ What paid promotional services are you using?
Fees
It is usually recommended that we work together for about six months initially.
I charge a monthly fee, paid in advance by Standing Order. You can terminate the arrangenment at any stage.
